My First Parent: Teacher Conference

With Nim being of school age (albeit kindergarten) I am experiencing lots of 'firsts' this year.

Last night, was her first confernce with her teacher to ensure that she is actualy learning something and getting along in class.

While I didn't expect anything too crazy, the teacher said that she was doing very well and was a star pupil. Her school is an environmental one and she seems to be taking to it like a duck in water.

All she needs to work on is her reading a little, which she is going to be doing while at our house. Her writing is very impressive as is her communication with other kids.

I am very proud of her.
