Hot Dogs, Yard Work, Goodbyes, and Lenny
Today is going to be a long ass day.
We had hotdogs for lunch at Naomi's daycare. Such nice people there and they really take good care of Naomi. She was soooo happy to see us as normal and she loves to spend time with us. They are also replacing their current jungle gym with a new one and said that we can have the old one which is perfect for our yard, and will do very well out the back.
We have initiated "Operation Landscape". I will show you some before and after pictures in the next few days, but we are going to be doing some major work on our back yard to improve the look of the thing. We just went and picked up 1200 lbs (yes, over half a ton) of river rock, and then 144 Windsor block stones for lining the bed of a tree. It is going to be a good one I can see.
At 5pm we are going to say goodbye to Pat who is moving to Florida tomorrow. She is going to work for Starbucks and she is very happy about it. Gainsville I think.
The "highlight" of the day is that at 7pm we are going to the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall to see Lenny Kravitz live in concert. It is going to be awesome, and it seems like forever since Steph and I went on a date. We purchased the tickets a while back in February, and it kind of snuck up on us, so it was a nice 'surprise' to see that we were going tonight.
Rock on!
